Energy impact estimate for a given ΔP

Power and energy per year from your ΔP — a linear estimate

Energy impact of a given ΔP

An estimate of planned cost from a known ΔP — not a separator-efficiency calculation.

η is your input only: efficiency depends on the fan and its duty point. Typical values are never substituted.

The tariff is your input only. Leave empty → no cost estimate.

Enter Q, ΔP, hours and η. Worked example (strictly educational): Q=3600, ΔP=100, η=0.5, h=2000 → P≈200 W, E≈400 kWh/year.

Energy impact of ΔPRelationship diagram: flow Q and ΔP at efficiency η give power P, and operating hours give yearly energy; every value comes from user input only.Q, ΔPη — efficiency (your data)P, WP ≈ Q·ΔP/ηyearly energy, kWhE = P·h/1000
## Method ```text Q_m3s = Q / 3600 P ≈ Q_m3s × ΔP / η [W] E = P × h / 1000 [kWh/year] costs (optional) = E × your_tariff ``` η is the total fan efficiency including the drive at your operating point. The tariff and η are only your input: without them the power and cost calculation is not performed (η = 1 as a "hidden default" is not allowed). ## Worked example Q = 3600 m³/h, ΔP = 100 Pa, η = 0.5, h = 2000 h/year → P ≈ 200 W, E ≈ 400 kWh/year. A strictly training example, not a characteristic of an assembly. ## Limitations - A linear simplified estimate under conditionally constant Q and η. - It ignores the shift of the fan operating point, frequency control, fouling and the network duty. - This is a planning estimate, not an electricity bill.
